hosted by CEDAR HepForge
GENIE (Generates Events for Neutrino Interaction Experiments) is an Object-Oriented Neutrino MC Generator supported and developed by an international collaboration of neutrino interaction experts. GENIE is currently being used by T2K, MINOS, NOvA, MINERvA, ArgoNEUT, MicroBooNE, LBNE, INO and others.
GENIE 2010 Summer Workshop, July 5th-20th.
This summer's hands-on workshop will take place at RAL from July 5th to 20th.
Invited participants include Prof. Omar Benhar, Dr. Luis-Alvarez Ruso, Prof. Steve Dytman and Prof. Hugh Gallagher. The workshop will focus on significant GENIE upgrades, especially in the areas of a) nuclear modeling / spectral functions, b) coherent pion production c) resonance neutrino-production d) intranuclear hadron transport and e) global cross section modeling / tuning.
Due to the hand-on nature of the workshop, only a very limited number of places are available strictly for students and post-docs using GENIE for data analysis. Please contact us if you are interested in attending.
The Workshop is funded by Durham/IPPP.
